Begitu bangga dengan mobil, rumah, tanah dan semua harta yang kita punya. Kepada yang lebih miskin palingkan muka dan berlagak tinggi di hadapannya. Tapi ketika harta lepas dari tangan lalu menangis tak berkesudahan.

Begitu aqad nikah diiqrarkan, langsung merasa dialah suami pasangan jiwa milik kita? Hingga kita menangis sedih saat suami harus pergi bekerja beberapa lama. Hingga kita merasa tak dipedulikan saat suami pulang larut malam padahal untuk mencari nafkah bagi kita dan keluarga.

Hey, kita ini hanya dititipi, dan kapan saja dapat diminta-Nya kembali. Kita tak pernah benar-benar memiliki: pasangan hidup, harta, bahkan diri kita sendiri. Kita ini cuma peminjam, yang sering masih merengek-rengek minta dipinjami yang lebih baik lagi. Ah, peminjam yang tak tahu diri.

Kita tak pernah benar-benar memiliki, pun diri kita sendiri.
